We’re launching a Kickstarter project to implement a new variety of tools for animators, we will create and install on our website a new video player for our 1.800+ online video references, presented on referencereference.com, that allows scrubbing videos frame-by-frame. Also, we’re going to update our website to run properly on feature/smart phones and tablets. We have some great awards, including ad plans and sponsorship in our site exclusively for schools and companies in the animation and game fields.  And ALL OVER 1800 videos on our wesite are completely free and available to the whole community of animators in the world.
Share it with your friends, classmates and students! If we don’t fund the project in Kickstater, the site will continue as it is … without videos frame-by-frame, without working well on tablets, and without being able to download the videos. In addition, several new videos that we have to up-load will stay on the desk. If you support us by sponsoring our project from $1, you will help us helping the whole animation community in the world!

Today’s model sheet comes from the classic Warner Bros division run by Darrell Van Citters back in the early 1990’s. Pepe Le’ Pew was an interesting character who would not take no for an answer. He wasn’t my favorite but I admittedly did enjoy him lackadaisically chasing the cat around and the quick cutting, her panicked and him playfully hopping to catch up. Of course at the time I had no idea he was essentially a stalker and that she probably had a restraining order on him! I don’t think you could get away with a  cartoon like this today, except maybe on Family Guy. I have in the past worked with hygienically challenged people who left a waft of stench behind them so I would argue that the science is solid surrounding his scent cloud.
Receipt, organization, tracking, distribution, duplication and delivery of all Post Production related materials.
This includes maintaining databases and spreadsheets to track retakes and other materials for overseas studios, handling/dubbing/distributing materials for sign off as well as for final delivery, and to assist the Post Production Supervisor in any way necessary to maintain the workflow of the Post Production Process.
Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to multitask on many levels.
They may be required not only to work on multiple shows but for multiple Supervisors, requiring the ability to change gears and work in different ways and with different personalities.
They may be required to sit in on meetings where they will interact with the creators/directors of the shows so their ability to understand that relationship and how to deal with it is crucial.
There will be times when they will be required to draft memos/faxes/emails or even speak to Network Executives or Overseas Studios so again their knowledge of that relationship and how to deal with these departments is a very important aspect of the job.
Basic Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
Knowledge of FileMaker Pro, Final Cut, Avid, Protools, Quicktime, and Photoshop is a plus.
Summary:Revises, supplements and cleans up storyboards as directed.
Responsibilities:
Meet with creative supervisors; discuss and implement necessary storyboard revisions.
Follow instructions as per the notes and discussions.
Address any problems with creative supervisors; ask necessary questions.
Communicate progress of work to creative supervisors and to appropriate production staff.
Ensure quality and style of show is consistently achieved in storyboard work.
Meet all deadlines as determined by LP/PM.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to use a Cintiq.
Must demonstrate proficiency in style of show.
Strong drawing and mechanical skills.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn applicable design software and hardware.
Strong time-management skills.
Work well under pressure.
Ability to multitask a plus.
Desired Qualifications:
Relevant drawing experience necessary.
BA/BS preferred, or 6 – 12 months storyboard revision experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
