What is your name and your current occupation?
I am Keith Alcorn and I am an animation Producer/Director.

What are some of the crazier jobs you had before getting into animation?
I worked in a Women’s clothing store as a janitor. I also poured concrete. I remember that day very well.

 

What are some of your favorite projects you’re proud to have been a part of?
There are so many wonderful projects, but I am most proud of “Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius”, “Santa vs. the Snowman”, “Planet Sheen” and “Nanna & Lil’ Puss Puss”.

What is your name and your current occupation?
My name is Uriel Mimran, I’m an animator. Currently doing sheet timing on a TV show.

 

What are some of the crazier jobs you had before getting into animation?
Not many really. I did work in an insurance company one summer when I was in high school, which is not much. Boring. Oh yes, I worked a few days at a bakery, to help out a girlfriend.

 

What are some of your favorite projects you’re proud to have been a part of?
There are many. I’d say Nocturna, which is a project I really wanted to work on. I litterally tracked them down after seeing the pilot, and was extremely lucky they had a french co-producer. Then Lucky Luke, where the animation director handed me quite a lot of the horse character, Jolly Jumper. I got to animate whole sequences by myself. To finish, the Illusionnist, which was probably THE most challenging project I ever worked on. I think I had to learn animation all over again during this production.

 

How did you become interested in animation?

What is your name and your current occupation?
My name is Wei-Chuan Hsu (people call me Wei, pronounced “way”). My current occupation is a freelance animator / generalist.

What are some of the crazier jobs you had before getting into animation?
I worked as a receptionist at the president’s office at my College and I would play WarCraft III at the desk.

What are some of your favorite projects you’re proud to have been a part of?It’s almost impossible for me to work on a project I’m not excited about. So if you see me working on a project, most likely I’m at least 90% excited about it. Some of my favorites are TRON: Legacy, Star Wars: The Clone Wars (TV), FXGURU and Mythic Journey Documentary.

Where are you from and how did you get into the animation business?

What is your name?
Herb Moore

 What are some of your favorite projects you’re proud to have been a part of?
Pinky & The Brain, The Simpsons and lately, Phineas & Ferb… My first job was as a background clean up artist om “The Simpsons” and it soon became one of my all time favorite shows to have worked on.  I also hold extremely fond memories as a timer on “Pinky & The Brain” as well as numerous other Warner Bros. shows such as “Animaniacs,” which lead to my first Emmy nomination for Directing.  I also hold a special place in my heart for the pilot, “Smirt & Kirkle,” that I co-create with Rusty Mills for Playhouse Disney.  The experience was terrific and left a taste in my mouth for wanting to do another pilot.  Currently, I’m having a blast working as the Timing Supervisor on “Phineas & Ferb” at Disney TV Animation and it’s turning out to be another great experience that ranks right up there with the best in my career.  Yet all these great shows fall by the wayside when my kids watch one of my short animations that I’ve created, and laugh or tease me for my sense of humor.
