New Wildseed Adult Animation shows

Wildseed Studios has unveiled two new adult animation shows.

Wolf Jenkins

#WolfJenkins

What show gives you lines like “General Ho Phung was busy being a twat to an animal” and “It was a beautiful, badly drawn, summers day”? Say hello to Wolf Jenkins. Created by comic actor and Channel 4 Comedy blap star Andy Needle and produced by Wildseed Studios, the show follows hero Vietnam Vet Wolf Jenkins on a mission of violence against the evil, bad guys to rescue the animals, particularly those that were mugged, tortured or made to wear a fez. Negotiating with the enemy is not an option for our war hero because if there’s one thing Wolf Jenkins loves as much as fluffy little animals it’s ripping out a man’s insides and chucking them into another man’s eyes.

Lone Wolves

Wildseed Studios has unveiled Lone Wolves, a new animated comedy by the SpinKickBros that follows two feral teenage boys being brought up by their single dad, a Hell’s Angel type who doesn’t want them to repeat his mistakes but is secretly proud when they rebel – think Die Hard meets Dawsons Creek.  This family experiences the same trials and tribulations as every other family the world over, just rougher, tougher and swearier. Each episode deals with important things like girl trouble and how to get booze for a party.

Wildseed Comedy has unveiled Peter’s Place, its debut adult animation comedy series. The show is set in a pub in Manchester, the sort that would give Family Guys’ The Drunken Clam a run for its money, and is managed by Peter, a quick-witted, foul-mouthed northerner with trust issues and anxieties over the threatening expansion of the middle classes. You know the type.

The series is part of Wildseed Studio’s commitment to launch a new series every month and provide viewers with premium, original shows featuring the best new UK comedy talent.

Peter’s Place explores the dysfunctional relationships Peter has with his clientele and the bond that binds these misfits including foul-mouthed pensioner Mary who’s lonely and un-loved ever since her husband left her. Then there’s Brian, an aspiring creative trapped in a soulless job – and not forgetting Oliver who’s a bit of a dreamer that needs a guiding hand to cope with the tough realities of modern life.

Produced by Wildseed Comedy, Peter’s Place is a four-part series which viewers can watch on Wildseed Comedy’s YouTube channel from Tuesday 14 April here http://petersplaceseries.com/

Wildseed Comedy Unveils New Animated Superhero Sci-Fi Comedy, Ship Of Eagles

London, UK – As part of their promise to launch a fresh, original series each month, Wildseed Comedy has unveiled their latest show, Ship of Eagles, a new animated sci-fi comedy created, written and directed by Joel Veitch and David Shute (rathergood.com), and executive produced by Wildseed Studios’ Miles Bullough and Jesse Cleverly which the public can watch from midday GMT on Friday 12 December 2014 here: http://wldsd.tv/shipofeagles

In the far future, mankind has spread throughout the stars. The Galactic Human Empire is ruled by a massive byzantine theocracy, a dense, ancient mess of rituals, dogma and bureaucracy, so old and complex that nobody really understands it all any more.

Fleeing the authorities after selling a batch of dodgy codpieces is SARAH – a small time crook who has got in over her head and is now branded a heretic. Forced along with her are an unlikely crew of reluctant rebels, caught up in the action against their will.

Their friendship is forged in their mutual struggle for survival after it becomes obvious that the Theocracy is interested only in destroying them all.

Backed in to a corner by the vicious regime, they reluctantly begin to build a resistance movement using only their wits and an inexhaustible supply of eagles.

Miles Bullough co-founder of Wildseed Comedy and Ship of Eagles’ executive producer said: “Fresh, and truly original content is what viewers are after, and shows like Ship of Eagles have been designed to satisfy that need, allowing audiences to consume content when and where they want to. The show was conceived as an epic world that will make the best use of sci-fi animation to create huge space structures, intergalactic battles and alien worlds – all the really big stuff that’s not possible through live action alone.”

Ship of Eagles was co-written and directed by Joel Veitch (he of internet cat fame) probably best known for his Uncle Wormsley’s Christmas on Sky Atlantic which gained stand out critical reception. Narrated by Steve Coogan, and featuring the voices of Julian Barratt, John Thomson and Julia Davis, the funny, dark and frequently disturbing animation tells a cautionary Christmas tale about love, greed and a giant crab.

Commenting on the vision of Ship of Eagles, Jesse Cleverly, the show’s executive producer and co-founder of Wildseed Comedy said: “Ship of Eagles is a rich and diverse world with strong characters, so we’d love to do more which will allow us take viewers on a journey with our intergalactic heroes as they uncover the true nature of space civilisation and the weakness of the Theocracy. The unrelenting growth of digital production and distribution platforms allows companies like Wildseed Comedy to fearlessly produce excellent shows like Ship of Eagles from a new generation of British comedy talent.”
