What are some of the crazier jobs you had before getting into animation?
 Selling Cable TV.
What are some of your favorite projects you’re proud to have been a part of?
We designed, boarded in it’s entirety the film called “Life and Adventures of Santa Claus.” Beautiful beyond compare and TOTALLY designed by G7 Animation’s crew. This can be viewed by going to our website G7animation.com. We are also uploading three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) a really funny site called LilFartz which can be found on Lilfartz.com orG7animation you tube. We’re always working on new projects. We’re also working on R rated animation and currently are slated for ten Feature Flms and ten TV Shows. So to say the least, we’re really busy.
How did you become interested in animation?
Actually, I wasn’t that interested but fell into it because I married into it. My first love is painting.
I’m from Michigan originally but have lived in California much longer. I started in animation working for Marvel designing backgrounds for “Jem”.
Every day is crazy. Running Production, working with art, artists, interns, developing new projects, talking to studios all over the world on a daily basis. Never a minute to rest.
What part of your job do you like best? Why?Â
Being an artist, I really like working with the art work, and always making it more creative, better, always pushing the envelope.
 What part of your job do you like least? Why?
There’s a lot of stress pushing artists to turn work in on time. That is not always pleasant.
Computers!…..would be lost without them. Oh yeah, I love photoshop too.
Not really. But off the subject just a bit, I believe The States has the best artists and it’s too bad we’re so eager to work or train people overseas. Totally killing American jobs.
Losing my Father.
Make sure you absolutely love this business because it is a rough way to make a living. I know talanted artists who are maids. There are way more students being “trained” then there are jobs and a lot of them are not even close to being prepared to work in this industry. Most of these schools are a scam. Learn the history of FILM making and FINE ART as that will make you a better artist….and READ!!! The more you know about things not related to cartooning or animation, the better you will be.
