What is your name and your current occupation?
My name is Alexandre Marengo, I currently work in a office law, and draw at night.

What are some of the crazier jobs you had before getting into animation?
Working at domestic services. It was crazy because I needed to get some money, I was married and pay the bills Dude cleaning a toilet was not easy.

What are some of your favorite projects you’re proud to have been a part of?
Tex Dunrigh and Me&Me is a honor to me when Grapevine invite me for develpomet these projects.

How did you become interested in animation?
Since I was a kid, I would always watch Sunday morning cartoons, yet my interest for animation reignited when my grandma bring to me the news from a Publisher that love my work, it was awesome.

Where are you from and how did you get into the animation business?
I was born in Brazil. I got into the animation business through company Grapevinestar.

What’s a typical day like for you with regards to your job?
Wake up, shower, leave my kids at school my wife in her work , and go to the office, in the afternoon take my wife in the work, my kids on school, and the best part of day is tonight with I begin to work with draws.

What part of your job do you like best? Why?
Create new characters news projects, is awesome, cause you see your imagination on the paper.

What part of your job do you like least?
Why? I like it all, What is the most difficult part for you about being in the business? To sell the idea What kind of technology do you work with on a daily basis? Photoshop and Pencil.

In your travels, have you had any brushes with animation greatness?
I can’t say that I have.

Describe a tough situation you had in life.
Lived with my family in the bedroom in the background my parents home by five years.

Any side projects or you’re working on or hobbies you’d like to share details of?
At the moment I’m starting to work on some extra projects of friend mine, development characters.

Any unusual talents or hobbies like tying a cherry stem with your tongue or metallurgy?
Play guitar and sing. Some people like my voice, I think that they are crazy lol.

Is there any advice you can give for an aspiring animation student or artist trying to break into the business?
Work work work, be honesty always, love what you do.
